Terms of Service - Maintenance Experience Logbook

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Maintenance Experience Logbook app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

The Maintenance Experience Logbook app is a tool for aviation maintenance professionals to log and track their work experiences, certifications, and related information. The app also offers an optional feature to export task data to Google Sheets.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. For the Google Sheets export feature, you may need to grant the app access to your Google account.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through the app. We do not claim ownership over your content. Your personal data and content will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We will not share, sell, or distribute your personal information or content to any third parties, except as necessary to provide the Google Sheets export feature if you choose to use it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on the rights of others
Submit false or misleading information
Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app
Misuse the Google Sheets export feature or any other integrations

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the app may require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through Google Play. Subscription terms and pricing will be provided within the app and/or on the Google Play store page. The Google Sheets export feature may be part of a paid subscription or offered as a separate feature.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us for account deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Maintenance Experience Logbook app, its operators, or any related parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service. This includes any issues that may arise from the use of the Google Sheets export feature.

9. Data Loss and Third-Party Services

While we strive to maintain the integrity and security of your data, we are not responsible for any loss of data that may occur due to technical issues, device malfunctions, or any other circumstances. This includes any data exported to Google Sheets. It is your responsibility to maintain backups of your important information. We recommend regularly exporting or backing up your data to ensure you have a copy outside of the app.

The Google Sheets export feature is provided "as is" and we make no warranties about its availability, reliability, or compatibility with your specific needs. Your use of Google Sheets is subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be effective immediately upon posting to the app. Your continued use of the app after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes.

11. Google Services Integration

The app's Google Sheets export feature requires integration with Google services. By using this feature, you agree to comply with Google's terms of service and any applicable Google APIs Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of Google services that may affect the functionality of this feature.
